Victoria Brown-Wildbur WILDBUR & BROWN Aisle 4 East End-cap

Entering Wildbur & Brown is like stepping into a little
English antiques shop, and that’s not by accident. Proprietor Victoria Brown-Wildbur is English and has been fascinated
with antiques since she was a child.
“I grew up in a pub in Derbyshire,
England. My parents stored a family friend’s antiques in the club room, and I used to sneak out of bed and look at all
the beautiful pieces,” Victoria explains.
Before fulfilling her destiny as an antiques
dealer, Victoria worked in England at the Rank Organization, which was Britain’s largest entertainment/film company,
and at Rolls Royce. Then on to Los Angeles, where she worked at Capitol Records and was co-owner of a Ventura Boulevard restaurant
called Victoria Inn, which she decorated with antiques, of course.
Now Victoria fills her little shop at Antique
Center of Texas with European furniture and beautiful decorative accessories – the wonderful little extras that give
a lovely, warm look to a room. She specializes in (and loves) rare pieces of Victorian bamboo furniture.
In Victoria’s booth, you
will find:
·
Antique furniture
·
Porcelains, lamps, needlepoint pillows and much more
·
Antique prints, many English
·
Unusual Victorian bamboo pieces with hand-painted lacquer motifs
