Tom Kennedy's Collectibles Aisle 7 East established
1973

Tom was influenced by his dad the optometrist and his mom
the school teacher. Dad was a great coin collector and Mom took Tom on antiques shopping trips when he was only 5. Tom preferred
baseball cards over coins, and his mom DIDN’T THROW AWAY HIS COLLECTION when he went to college – Baylor, in this
case.
Tom ran baseball card
and sports memorabilia shows for 20 years while working as a columnist for the late and lamented Houston Post. He first had
a shop at Antique World before moving to Antique Center when it opened in 1991. The business expanded to now offer “made
in the USA” collectibles in many categories.
In
Tom’s booth, you will find:
-
Vintage baseball, football, basketball and golf collectibles
-
Autographed memorabilia from all sports and the movies
-
Vintage movie collector cards, pictures and fan magazines
-
Unique cardboard display items from advertising and movies
-
Decanters, Coke collectibles, antique board games and vintage
pennants
-
Collectibles from the old Southwest Conference and Houston
high schools
